Frequently Asked Questions

Getting ready for the ANCSR is always an exciting time. We want to give you the best time possible, so of course we're happy to take questions and will try to assist as much as possible but please direct questions via email [email protected] rather than sms/messenger or phone calls to organisers, if you do, please don't be surprised if you don't get a response as we are a small club and have busy lives - so emails we can get to any time - also it's clear and in writing. Try not to listen to gossip or hear say - ask the organisers!  Questions asked deemed helpful to others will be added below.

1. Where's my rally pack? Rally packs can be collected on the Friday night or Saturday morning before the ride-out.
2. Do I have to wear my wristband? Yes. You will not be allowed to participate in ride-outs or other activities unless you have a wristband on. If your wristband is damaged or gets lost, please contact one of the organisers.There will be security on the door at evening events! checking wrist bands.
3. Where should I stay? There are quite a few places within walking distance of the evening venue.  Book asap!!! you want to be in Mooloolaba
4. Can I have my rally pack sent to me? No. If an act of one of the gods means you are unable to attend the rally for any reason after purchasing a ticket, you'll be contacted after the event to arrange and pay for shipping.
5. Can I buy a rally pack without buying a ticket to attend the rally? No.
6. I'm a vegetarian/vegan/other special diet and I don't want the food that's included. Can I get a discount? No. The ticket price is the ticket price. We cannot guarantee that all dietary needs can be catered for. Please make your own arrangements for food.
7. I only want to attend one night, can I get a discount? No. The ticket price is the ticket price
8. What qualifies as a classic scooter? Any scooter with gears that was designed before 1980. A scooter typically has a step-through frame and most scooters are manual. The notable exception is the Fuji Rabbit. If you show up on a Rabbit, you'll be admired. If you show up on any other auto, you will not be allowed to participate Modern PX scooters are allowed. Modern automatic Lambrettas and Scomadis are not allowed. 
9. Can I bring my automatic scooter? No. If you show up on an auto, you will not be allowed to participate in organised Rally activities.
10. Can I bring my Harley Davidson motorcycle?  Only if it's a Harley Topper.
11. Can I bring a pillion? Yes, but your pillion must also have a rally pack purchased for them due to insurance requirements.
12. How fast does my scooter need to be able to go on the ride-outs? There will be various ride-out options available. All will include options for slower scooters. We hope you can maintain at least 50km/hr.
13. When is the show and shine and how can I win? The show and shine is on Sunday. The categories are on the 'show and shine' page
14. My partner has an auto, can they bring it? If they bring it, they will not be allowed to participate in any organised ride-outs or other Rally activities that involve riding a scooter, including but not limited to the show and shine.
15. Can I come without a scooter? possibly, please email to get on waiting list as tickets will be sold to attendees bringing scooters first.
16. Will there be SKA music? Yes.
17. Do I have to listen to SKA music?

19. Will it be cold? No
20. Will it be hot? Probably.
21. Will it rain? Probably.
22. I've heard there maybe an alien invasion in the area, should I be concerned? Probably.
23. Do I need to be fully vaccinated? At this point in time, yes, in order to attend the venues we'll be visiting, you'll need to be fully vaccinated.
